Solaris 11 recover root password

1. boot from DVD

2. Select #3 shell

3. zpool import -f rpool

4. beadm mount solaris /a

5. vi /a/etc/shadow

find root and remove password hash

6. vi /a/etc/user_attr
change the line for root to:
root::::type=normal

7. vi /a/etc/default/login

change PASSREQ=YES to PASSREQ=NO

8. bootadm update-archive -R /a

9. reboot

10. then select reboot from the menu
